Hadimba Devi Temple (02 km)

Located amidst a peaceful glade, the temple is dedicated to goddess Hadimba Devi, who according to the local myth, was mountain belle rescued from her demon brother by Bhima who married her later. She is worshipped by people as a protector from evil omens and natural calamities and is popularly known as ‘Mother Godess’ among local people. The outstanding feature of this temple is a four-tiered pagoda shaped roof and a beautifully carved door.

Vashisht Baths (1.5 km)

The therapeutic natural sulphur spring form a major tourist attraction. Temples of Vashisht Rishi, Lord Rama and Lord Shiva add another dimension to the sight. The village is only a few kilometers away from Manali town and lies to the east of the Beas River. With its unparalleled beauty and peaceful environment, this place is the backpacker’s paradise, and tourists visit this place in good numbers every year. According to the Hindu culture, Vashisht village holds immense significance as the heritage served as the residence to one of the saptarishis, Sage Vashisht.

Manu Maharishi Temple (04 km)

Manu temple is located in Old Manali village. It is believed that Manu after the great deluge, first stepped on earth from the celestial boat and this particular spot where he established his abode is the present Manali, which is derived from ‘Manu Allaya’, meaning the home of Manu. It was from here that the human race came into being after deluge. The Manu temple is the only temple on the earth dedicated to Manu.

Rohtang Pass

Rohtang Pass is the main attraction in Manali. It is about 2 hours drive from our resort. At the top of the pass air seems to glitter against snow as you look down over herringbone ridges into the other valley. The height of this snow-covered peak is 13,400ft. from the sea level. This pass is open only from June to September every year and rest of the period its closed due to heavy snow.

Naggar (21 km)

Nestling on a slope with forests all around, about 100 meters above the left bank of river Beas, it commands a splendid and extensive view of the valley. It was the capital of Kullu state for about 1400 years. Here one can see Naggar Castle, now converted into hotel run by Himachal Pradesh Tourism built on a steep eminence overlooking the valley. You can also have a glimpse of Roerich Art Gallery – A white washed well maintained house of Late Nicholas Roerich, husband of renowned film actress of yesteryears Late Devika Rani, is famous for paintings.
